It has been some time since either Julia or I have created a post here. The past couple of months have been... well , busy.
Here's the short list :
1. Julia completed an Electrocardiography program at Meherry medical college with a 90% as her final grade. Half of the class dropped out in the first three weeks because they couldn't hack it. Julia knocked it out of the park. I am very proud of her.
2. We bought a house. Anyone who has ever bought a house knows how intense can be. It is well worth the effort. We LOVE the place. My buddy Bill told me the house would be our new hobby. Well Billis, you were wrong... it's more like an obsession!
3. Moving sucks
4. I have been working like a mad man. Summers at work are always crazy for me. But this one has been insane. i dont want to talk about it

Granny's Visit!
Granny came to visit us in March and even though the weather was cold and rainy, we had a great time! We pretty much just hung out our around the house and played with Maya. It ended up being the perfect weekend for Granny to visit because Maya started saying her own name while she was here. What an exciting time!! Maya and Granny got along great! They colored together and snapped the asparagus ends off for dinner. They read books and played instruments. Maya also chose to have Granny put her shoes on instead of Josh or myself when she was ready for her shoe change, that girl loves her shoes! After Granny left, Maya couldn't stop talking about her!

Maya's Not a Baby Anymore!
Here is Maya running, she gets around pretty fast on those feet now. Rescue and Maya are playing ball, Maya likes to fetch more than Rescue!
Maya will be 20 months in about a week, we can't believe it! Seems like just yesterday we were at Winnie Palmer in Orlando at 5:59 A.M. holding this beautiful little baby.
Here's Maya taking a break from all the dancing we were doing, taking a quick "dog nap" on Rescue's bed!

Saturday was Maya's first night in her toddler bed. She loves her "big girl bed!" She even stayed in bed in the morning. I was so excited to see if she would be playing with her toys when we
went in to get her. She was just laying there talking to herself, what a good girl!

These are shoes that her Aunt Laura & Uncle Gus got her for Christmas, she loves them! As soon as we put them on her she started dancing!
She is very girly! She loves shoes, purses, and talking on the phone! She will also put anything to her ear and pretend it's her phone. Like her tupperphone!
I had to include this one of Maya cracking up watching her favorite show, The Backyardigans!
